can these 2 be given together? has anyone had any good results with using cider vinegar? someome once told me it gives them a bigger appitite is this true? my horse is currently on glucosamine msm which seems to help.

I dont know of any problems giving them together.

and yes, Apple Cider Vinegar acts as an appitite increaser. Its also good for the gut and makes it an inhospitable environment for parasites.

I dont have a horse- but I put it in my chickens water

Yes they can be given together. I've not noticed any real substantial benefit of feeding apple cider vinegar, but I feed it because my horse can't really eat apples (she chokes) and it's nice and appley! I'm a softie

It is supposed to have all sorts of benefits, like appetite, joints, respiration, keeps flies away, good for coat and general condition... etc.
The NAF one is vile, smalles like the stuff you put on your fish and chips. I feed Equus Health stuff

the one thing i dont want is for her already greedy gargantuan (cant spell :P) appitite to get any bigger so i might find something else, any suggestions?

I have the NAF one and yes- it smells awfull! I hate it if I spill a little on my hands.

I can also vouch for the appitite increase- my birds are getting through loads of feed! lol

I also use ACV for my chickens increases appetite, also improves gut health to reduce parasite damage and bacterial infections.

Thinking about it why aren't I using it for my horse too...????

I use riaflex joint supplement which contains glucosamine and apple cider vinegar. However, when I run out of the supplement I am going to just use the cider vinegar and see if I notice any difference for not using it!

I use Ostler ACV as it contains lots of 'mother' which is supposed to help. I buy it in bulk as it works out much cheaper that way.
