Fortunately they were a bit dozy so we only got stung a couple of times. Stupid ruddy mutt!:rolleyes:

On the other hand, it was in a field shelter in one of the paddocks used in summer, I guess better we found it than a curious pony in a couple of month's time... but still, I think it's above and beyond the call of duty, personally:eek:
 
I actually think u need another, in the shape of a bigger than usual cavalier (superbly well behaved) that is desperate to learn to hunt and retrieve (with someone who likes that kind of thing) ;)
 
He's now seriously peeved that I have mended the holes in Philbert the Fat Stuffed Pheasant (he now has fetching little blue patches over his injuries;)) which means Henry can now no longer take all the stuffing out and spread it all over the floor. So now he refuses to play with it... poor rejected Philbert:(
 
wish I had had your spaniel. Silly horse ATE a wasp in the summer and cost me an emergency call out for a horse with (sp?!) anapheletic shock
