What do you all think of Parelli?

Um... should I jump my two year old under the saddle?

and er is it right to tie children's legs to the stirrups?

who wears wellies to ride in? etc etc

Seriously now, what do you think are the most controversial issues that spark the most debates on here?

Hat when riding? Only when it's so windy my baseball cap blows off.
Wellies? Only when I can't find my cowboy boots.

I think Parelli is good in some respects, you have fun with your horse and a good understanding with the groundwork that they do. I don't like how Linda Parelli rides though

I cant get my horse to stand whilst i mount so i lunge her really fast till she falls over and i jump on quick before she gets up..... is this ok??
 
lol the first time I heard her description of riding it amused me for the rest of the day! The best bit was, she was doing a thing on saddles and how dressage saddles arent good to ride in because.... 'they make you sit on your seat bones'! bless her little cotton socks....

im sorry but personally i dont see a problem with upside down pelhams, over tight standing martingales and excessive draw rein use ....................as long as there all covered in copious amounts of tacky glass / plastic commonly reffered to as .......................*****BLING****
