Does he look fat?

Bill has now been living out for last month or so, gets hacked 2-3 times a week (just 1hr hacks) and is still fed at night. what do you think? He is still in his winter coat but will be clipping him soon, probably just a bib or blanket as still want him out.

What do you think, does he look fat?

I don't mind if he is fat btw, he is hard to keep weight on over winter when working properly! For the amount he is doing i almost think he should be fatter?

he is carrying too much weight for me. Mainly of the neck & shoulder area. Still winter is coming on & will help sort it out.

I don't think he is fat, I think he is more upside down lol.

He's just looks as though the topline has sunken downwards.

If he was in work which focused on muscling him up he would be around the same weight just carrying it differently.

Thanks all. It is good to have other eyes looking at him; to me he appears roughly the same weight but with less tone which is expected, he was eventing every weekend and very fit before he was turned out! And now is only hacking

Not quite sure what is going on with his neck here, he looks very bull necked when he actually has quite a long neck as he can easily grab things which he isn't meant to have :rolleyes3:

Suppose was just hoping he might be fat - after all he able to eat as much as he wants

He looks as though he has fat around his front end - shoulders - but his back end looks fine.
