hehe that happened to me once with a bolter who i was trying to cure for her owner. She took off and then stopped dead when i insisted enough, she refused to turn her body even though her head was facing the other way lol and then just as i didnt actually have anything in front of me, she decided to use the emergency stop. I sailed straight over her head and landed on my feet facing her. Didnt know who was more surprised! Me or her! rofl

Got back on and she didnt bolt again with me, probably thought there was no point if i was just gonna do that and get back on her again hahaha :D

Ooh, I did that too once.. friend's horse stopped dead at a jump, so over his neck I sailed.. landed on my feet.. then one ankle caved in and I definitely wasn't standing up any more. I wasn't as bad as Jess, but it was bloody sore and I couldn't walk at all for about a week.
