nutritional value yet. It looks like the ponies are going to have to come home for a few days if the new one passes the vet. We have loads of grass but it has never been grazed before, well not for at least 25 years. I was wondering if I would need to supplement this or should it be ok.

I've noticed all the neddies at our yard have a spring in their step within the last few days, so I would definately say the grass value has changed. Our grass hasnt reached the rocket fuel stage yet, I'm sure that will come in the next 2-3 weeks...Oh joy!

the grass at my yard has got some goodness in it my mini shetland was feeling it so i have got her in a little bit no bigger than a garden and my old boy who is 25 went round the village at the weekend with a big spring in his step and had a few spooks i cant remember the last time he could be bothered to spook!

Yep it's changed this week with out doubt. My girl just looked at me from the other side of the field last night when I took her hay up and started eating the grass again.

if it hasn't been grazed tho for a long time be careful, she's been on that paddock all winter- spring grass can be the enemy !
