Some thoughts please.
15yrs, good coat, good weight. Doesn't always finish her food.
No real interest on walks, refuses(aggressively) to come round the fields and would need to be kept on a lead anyway as deaf and senile, i.e can't find you and wanders off.
No real interest in coming in 'car' walks, where she used to be first at the car, bounding. Again, would have to be on the lead as wanders off and gets 'stuck'.
Become over the last month bladder incontinent and now pooing too when left for normal amount of time, difficult to take her out for extra loo breaks as very aggressive (always has been a bit snappy but more so) to get lead on and won't come out on her own.
does struggle a bit to get up and down, has arthritis and on metacam.
Has some form of senile dementia-barks a lot, gets disorientated as to where you are etc.
Still quite able to have treats etc, and keen for them, although misses them etc., has to search for them.

Thoughts?

I would agree with CC. It sounds as if she has a number of problems and is not really happy. Ime dogs that have always been housetrained often get stressed when they become incontinent, it sounds as if she doesn't really relate to people very well either now. Obviously only you truly know your dog but if she was mine I would pts I am afraid.

I am afraid I agree with CC - its the extra aggression that she is showing would make me think she is in pain or very uncomfortable at the least.

Its sounds rather sad and that she is losing her dignity.

Poor old girl

I'm afraid she is starting to lose her dignity and it may be time to say goodbye. Same thing happened to my hubbys OES and he hung on to him for ages as he couldn't bring himself to pts. It was sad to see him like that.

Ditto what the others have said I'm afraid

Incontinence makes house trained dogs very unhappy, and the disorientation and increased aggression also show she is not happy

Thank you for confirming our thoughts. It is very hard because she is still mobile, not nearly as tottery as some old dogs but the incontinence really has pushed the issue to the forefront

Have to agree, dosen't sound like she is enjoying life anymore I do believe in quality over quantity, Its a hard decission, but better a week to soon than a day too late. We have a poorly JRT, so I know how you feel.
