Does this look like a bite mark?

I noticed my pony has a cut above his flank on top of his rump area next to his spine.. If that makes sense lol Ive put iodine spray on it but just curious how he got it! He is in a big open field with nothing in it to hurt himself on. Although there is temporary electric fencing across it because there is still way to much grass for them. I think it may be a bite from. Another horse. What do you all think?

I'm no expert on that type of stuff but it does look a lot like a bite, or maybe a good scratch from something, but it should heal fine if its kept clean and you keep an eye on it. Do you keep there halters on in the field?

No halters left on him or the other two horses. Yeah I'm sure it will be okay too, I hope the hair grows back! Lol

My pony managed to rub off most of the hair on her face some how, and now you would never knew it happened! Don't worry if it wont, I have seen many horses go in the show ring with lots of "battle scars"!
