It appears to be fairly well recommended locally, Its not where i took Cecil because i chose a longer course of group sessions which were good, but i think he spent much of the time distracted by the other dogs and people. He is however beautifully behaved to lead walk etc so some sunk in!

I've booked the lead walking clinic, and will book the recall clinic.
The puppy classes confuse me slightly. I get the puppy development is 3x half hour private sessions, I'm not sure about the puppy manners. Is that a single hour session for £100 on one of the dates listed or is it an hour on all the dates maybe?!

I have emailed both this place and the one i took Cecil too for info/dates.

Which would generally be better do we think? private or group? My thought process with Cecil was that i wanted him to learn to listen and come back even with lot going on around.

I'd say private as I had exactly the same problem with mine as you had with Cecil. Spent far too much time being distract ed by all the other lovely pups!! But every dog is different

I would think a private one first to get the basics sorted and then join the other class to put things in place with distractions .. it’s easy to teach recall etc if there are no distractions but you want to be able to get your dog to recall despite distractions
