Does this seem too expensive?

Looking on ebay and found this but was wondering whether this seemed a bit expensive or is it about average?

I think it's expensive for rope but it is made to measure and comes with the chain you want. Plus, their reputation is good so it would probably be ok

I think it is - on one of the sites you were linked to earlier - Plas Equestrian - you can one with chain for about half the price:

It would be the 'leather mounted' flat halter + buying the chain additionally rather than being sold together (If i figured it out right

I think flat webbing + chain looks better than round rope, personally, too
