Does this sound like boredom or discomfort?

Example: Went on a short hack yest, horse was fine for say the first ten minutes while we were doing road work then when we went off road after about 2 minutes she starts shaking her head up and down. Now, the time we went was later on in the evening and I couldn't see any flies what so ever. Although, when I've ridden her in the school, i have noticed she will do it when we are in walk although I wasn't sure if this was down to flies/hot weather.

I have had her teeth done/checked and her back checked. To me the saddle fits but I could get my fitter back out to double check again although it seems odd that she doesn't do it when we are doing road work or out of a walk in the school.

I'm wondering whether it's just simply boredom or the heat as i dont remember her doing it in the cooler weather or in winter.

It could be head shaking, as my sister's horse does it, however it came on very suddenly, and only in the summer, and for this year only. Vet thinks it is allergies, but that sunlight can affect it, so you should ride early morning or late night, and you could try with a nosenet etc. and put a fly mask on in the field, again, as the sunlight can affect them.
