Just filling in a form for Dexters big date with the specialist tomorrow and it asked for his Pedigree name. I had to look it up cos I didn't know it and it's quite nice. He is Amicus Everything Changes. His big sister is Amicus Penny Lover and Matty is Mazeru Tanami. The only one I could ever remember without looking was Holly our Rottie we lost 2 years ago and she was Brytelka Arizona Sky.

Our Doberman Pip is "Chelborn Kissair" and our Border Collie Daisy is "Mastamariner Blue Belle".

;

Buccleuch Bucks Fizz - Scrabble
Buccleuch Bourbon - Alfie
Buccleuch Brunello - Nellie
Buccleuch Burgundy - Amber

their mum is balled Buccleuch Athena as we named her and her littermates after Greek Gods/Goddesses! i think the funnest part is choosing the theme!

Upperwood Level Spirit - my 11 yr old pointless working pointer aka Polly
Gosels Spirit of the Mist - 2 yr old lakeland terrier aka Nobby

Odd that different breeds and 9 yrs apart they both have 'Spirit' in their names.

My cat also has a posh name.....Starshadow Zeta Zakuska an 18 yr old Burmese aka Baggy

We breed / show bedlington terriers. Our kennel name is "seaofiron" after the area\we live - Redcar, a small town on the northeast coast. Our last litter of pups were named after Stone Roses records (thanks to my partner!!)
Seaofiron Where Angels Play (Bridget)
Seaofiron Here It Comes (Phoebe)
Seaofiron This Is The One (Sasca)
Seaofiron Made Of Stone (Brough).
Mum is called De-Bussey Addicted To Love, aka Mouse.

Maggie our border collie- Shepwood Night Breeze
They picked N for the moms name Nel and B for the dads name Bruce! And tehy had natural beauty N blossom and stufff like that! No boundries was one to!

Zak is The Artful Dodger!!!!

A more apt name I have yet to think of for a food theif like him!!!

We had a choice of that or The Prince of Darkness..... that sounded a bit evil, or Wind in his Tail...... ewwww sounds farty!!!

Nero - Shoshone Brook
Skye - Shoshone Topaz
Brier - Namareh Shama
Shala - Navajo Shadi
Sheya - Navajo Shima
Moto - Shoshone Odin

My two have quite sensible German names, but our old bitch who died in 1996 was "Carnalbana Natasha of Liscoom". Try saying that with a few beers.

If any GSD heads remember, this is my all-time favourite mouthful:

"(Champion?)Kurtlee Seffe of Delridge at Fairview"
Her name was actually quite normal without all the prefixes and affixes.....

My previous vizsla, Bracken was called Kazval Kirsch - apparently they always have names beginning with K from this kennel so I expect all the Katies and more common names went quite quickly and now they probably have even more obscure names.

Loki is Mollotombola Shadow

we had a choice as there were four boys still to be collected in the litter when we got him - can't remeber the other names, but they weren't much better

My parents had a rough collie called Abbeywater Learn To Love.
