After a particulary hard lesson today where Billy was working very hard (but very well!) and in very humid weather, when I had finished etc. and was hosing him off, I rubbed his head and it went all sweaty white foam!
All over his head so I used a sponge to wash it off!

I've never come across white foam sweat on a horse's head (not ears/underside of neck) but actually below cheekbones/above bit!

Does your horse get a sweaty face?

ours get droplets fall off her head onto the ground!! lol and it runs down his front legs like you have put a hose on him!

My husband is ultra fit, like marathon fit and he doesnt sweat much until he gets really fit, he says its your body being ultra efficent and cooling down :-)

yep, and between her back legs too. i assume that means she's worked from behind...
especially in winter cause she grows a coat like a sheepdog so naturally if she'll be worked she gets shaved :D

Yep only when he is worked hard though, he gets the 'foamy' bum too much to the delight of the girls at the yard who find it hilarious ;)
