Just out of interest because I had a McTimoney practitioner out to see Maiden today and neither I nor Maiden were overly impressed... does your horse have his/her own "team" of specialists to pander to his/her every need?! My horse has a specific vet at the practice who knows her inside out after only a year. There's then the farrier (wouldn't swap him for the world), dentist (he's fantastic, so calm and quiet and always tells me what he's doing and why), saddler (again always tells me what he's doing and knows my horse's back and her saddles inside out), and my usual physio I have for my horses who I shall be using next time I need her, as opposed to the McTimoney lady I had out today. I also have a local accupuncturist who I think does her job very well and is also willing to share her knowledge with owners, and I wouldn't hesitate to call her rather than someone else even though I've never had her to see one of my horses yet. I suppose you could also say that I have my two intructors, one specifically for me and one who teaches both of us. Feeding is a bit hit-and-miss but Maiden lives on fresh air so that's not so much of a problem!
So my horse seems to have her own little "team" of professionals, and me as head slave
Do you just use whoever or are you particular about who lays their hands on your precious equine?
