I have today bought a beautiful little tb chestnut mare. She's about 16years, 15.2 (at the top of her enourmous withers) and she has enourmous shark fin withers, a bony bum, and is not the prettiest horse in the stable yard .... But to me she's beautiful, she has a wonderful temperament, a kind nature and I love her so much already .... Anyone else been blinded by love ? LOL
Anyone have pictures if their odd shaped ponies ??

Doesn't matter what they look like if they do the job. Some are so ugly and badly put together they are beautiful!

I don't know how to do pictures but the little 14hh man I bought in August has
short legs (so do I so we are stumpy together!)
a plump tummy, (ditto)
short wide neck (not ditto!)
high withers
and a head so HUGE he looks llike if he snoozes he will tip over forwards!

I thought he was seriously ugly when I first saw him but I fell for him anyway. My non horsey OH saw me click with him and said 'he's awful. We're having him aren't we?'
He has sooo many issues that he doesn't have time to worry about his looks and the ladies luuurve him so I guess it doesn't matter.

Incidentally it may be the diet, or the clip, or the fact he is working less hunched up now, but I think he is rather good looking as horses go now that I am used to him!!
