As title really. Just interested how many vets except direct claims?
Does your small animal vet do direct insurance claims?

Yes, but it's likely to change in the near future - either restricting this to claims £200+ only and/or charging for processing forms.

Yes, but, I'm probably one of their best private (not farm based) customers and have been with them for in excess of 30 years so I'm not sure if they make an exception to their usual policy for me.

Mine used to but not sure now. I'd be pretty annoyed if they didn't though as been with same vets 30+ years and insured with one of the most well respected insurance companies.

Yes mine do but only with certain companies. There’s a notice in reception stating who they won’t deal with (the usual E&L, Animal Friends, etc)

First practice- over 500 only, no admin fee
Second- no, then yes no stipulations, then yes with admin fee no admin fee for indirect, then back to no (with the odd extreme case exception)
Now- yes, admin fee for all claims, ID needed and the paperwork but direct claims ok but not specifically encouraged.

Mine don't although they consider it on individual basis for continuation claims where they've already got confirmation that the first claim went through.
