Hi. My Pip 21 month old cockapoo has been much less active and excitable the last few days. Am guessing it's the heat but should I be worried? We are keeping her at home at hottest times but she will lie in the sun every so often. Eating drinking and staling normally as far as I can tell. Should I be worried?

I would expect a dog to be quieter in this weather BUT often things are missed because the assumption is made that it is just the weather-a trip to the vet may put your mind at ease and peace of mind is worth a lot

thanks both. She was her normal self at the yard this evening. I took advice from elsewhere on here and made her an ice lolly which she enjoyed! Will keep an eye on her but think she has just slowed down in the hot weather - rather like me!!
