Im glad that the owner is being charged!!

More should be done about of dogs that are not under control!

Yes I agree, so pleased she is being charged. Sounds pretty severe (and terrifying)incident for both riders to have been thrown off

I'm glad they found the owner. Most times they grab their dog and run off. That dog must have been seriously aggressive to upset police horses that badly.

Whilst I am glad that the owner is being charged, I am a bit annoyed that when a dog attacks a horse belonging to the member of public nothing is ever done, yet when it is Police horses all of a sudden they press charges?

I agree Sanolly,
there have been over the years quite a few dog attacks on horses round here and as far as I know nothing was done about it, the owners scarper most of the time so no one can make them pay for the vets bills.
It's not just horses out of control dogs attack, my lurcher is always being chased by other people's out of control dogs, it is only that she can run so fast she can get out of harms way. If you say anything to the owners you just get verbal abuse and threats back, the police won't do anything unless a human is hurt !
