We are looking to take the dogs on a seriously posh boat, with wooden floors throughout, and leather sofas. I am concerned that their claws will damage the floor, so would like to boot them. Can anyone recommend some good boots that stay on, that are close fitting so not likely to irritate them.

Many thanks

Try country munn they have a wide range of dog boots. What about using a file or drummer on the dogs nails so they are rounded on the end. I would b concerned that the dog may slip if wearing boots on deck

We bought a huge load of them from the US where you can pick them up for about $2 each.......only worthwhile if you are buying lots and lots though.

Culpeppers do similar, they are dearer but still a lot cheaper than some you'll see in pet shops etc. There are designed for sled dogs but would be perfectly suitable for what you need. Expect them to walk as if on hot coals for a bit but they soon forget about them!!
