As many of you know, I have a greyhound. I'm completely new to greyhounds (i'm used to border collies!)

Basically Scoobie runs and he runs quick, obviously as he's a greyhound but hes started to cut his pads and pull his nails. He's not allowed to run on concrete but it seems to happen on grass mostly and it doesn't matter if the grass is hard/wet/frozen etc, he still does it.
He's not overly bothered about it when he gets home from his walk but it must hurt at the time and he does bleed a fair bit but it stops fairly quickly if that makes sense.
Would boots be worth trying? Does anyone use them? or have used them in the past?
Many thanks.

Ruffwear do some really good ones - but they are pricey. However alot of other ones I have tried come off way too easily.

Think they are American but if you google it there are definitely UK places that sell them
