Hello....don't post in here much but woild appreciate some advice.
We have a 2 year old jack russell who has always been wry of certain people (others he is fine with)
Sometimes he shows this fear with agression but really he is all teeth and no trousers and a mummys boy!
He seems to be anxious....almost as if he can't relax sometimes and we wondered if there is anything feed wise we can give him to just chill him out a bit.
One example is.
Last weekend we had people over ...one little girl is scared of dogs so we shut him in one part of the house. Although he did not make any noise and didnt seem stressed or worried when we went to check on him (several times) when we got him out his skin had gone red on his joints ...
he does have problems with his skin as well which the vets treat him for and have always been told its mites / skin allergy but wonder if anxiety could be a reason for it as well. Hence asking for advice really.
I know there is obviously calming products for horses and wondered if there is anything we can do/ give the dog.
I hope thats fairly clear.
Appreciate any advice
