dog coughing?

My older boy seems to have a bit of a cough. started about 2 days ago. He doesnt cough all the time and exercise doesnt make it worse. His lungs sound clear, as in no ratal when I listen to his chest. Seems to be absolutly fine in himself. Of course I will take him to the vets but dont want to rush in for a small cough. He's fed raw and they have had a lot of chicken bones this week so hoping nothings got stuck.
Any ideas what it could be guys?

How old is he? It could be sign of a mild heart problem in an older dog, I would pop him to the vets just to be on the safe side.

I agree with MM, get him to the vet. My old boy developed a cough and he had a heart problem. and additional fluid on his lungs. fingers crossed he is ok.

Does it get worse when you touch his throat? If so, could be Kennel Cough. Some dogs can seem really well with this other than the actual cough. Might be worth giving the vet a ring.
