Just been browsing on Ebay for a crate for the naughty Tyson dog...
Would 121 x 76 x 82cm / 48" x 30.4 x 32.8 inches be big enough for a VERY LARGE GSD X Husky?
This seems to be the biggest sized crate I can find?
Cayla?
CC?
Anyone? :D

I don't know what the exact dimensions of of ours was, it was off Ebay too, but it was the biggest one on offer and I think it was between 50-60 quid. That was about two years ago. And his ears still brush the top of it :p

Well, here's a weeny husky in a 48"...

It's plenty big enough that she has a squishy bed bit and a carpeted bit for when she gets too warm on the bed. Think I paid £70 delivered including the bolt-on water bowl and a strip of carpet/faux vetbed stuff.

ETA: That isn't a bit of poo on the floor, it's a sausage. :p

Bolt on water bowl... This will be VERY important. I hadnt even thought that far ahead... Its hard enough to stop him chucking his water around when he isnt confined to a cage!
I'm not sure that cage looks big enough though  Hes so bloody big!

You can get bigger ones but you'd have to look hard as this is the biggest standard size. So long as its a few inches higher than your dogs head it can sit in it ok as well as lie down.

Measure out 4' on your carpet (1.2m) or wherever it's to go. They are pretty big cages. I've got an unused one (-I did offer to charity but transport seems to be the problem). Wrong side of London though.

I agree, measure it out wherever you're intending to put it and you might be surprised, they're bloody massive. I ended up remodelling the living room around this one. I don't think I've seen anywhere that does them bigger than 48".

If it helps you any madam is 24" or so to the shoulder and can stand in it without her ears touching the roof, just about, but there's plenty of sprawling and turning-round space.

Ahh, peace and quiet. :D

I will measure out my mums for you, they bought a crate for transporting the new (Ridgeback) puppy home and to the vets etc but now its in the house as her bed and her chill out space (Good work by me!). They originally bought the biggest one they could find but they couldnt even get it in the range rover! They have the size down now and I still think its huge! (Possibly because I am used to my diddy terrior sized crate!)

I will get OH to measure our biggest crate when he comes home, otherwsie you are in danger of me giving you the wrong size:o mine fits our deerhound in on fire work night, he can lie down comfortably and stand jsut about, but he is very tall.
