Dog dies after being tasered!

Well yeah, with a lot of dogs a taser would gee them up further.....also, as someone else once mentioned, dogs don't understand what 'Taser Taser Taser' means.....
 
I actually stopped walking up there as I was always meeting off lead dogs with owners who had no idea how to call them back. It meant I could never relax on a walk so I now prefer to walk where I'll meet less people, I'm an unsociable sod.:D
 
I am really surprised the police responded, I didnt think they were interested in dog on dog attack. Im glad they did and hope they track down the owner and taser them.

No mention of the other dog, I hope it is alright, and agree with MM the Staffie would have been petrified after being tasered.

I am so thankful we have our own land to walk on and only friends are invited to walk there as no public footpaths.
 
The report says the officers restrained him after he was tasered as was still out of control and thats when he died!! Must have been some full on restraint!! xxx Wonder where the owner was in it all? x

I was surprised the police responded too, and very
quickly it would seem. There is a snack bar up on the hill which is very popular, I wonder if the police were up there having a brew at the time.;)
I hope the other dog is alright too.
 
Well I just wish the police would come and Tazer the blimmin dogs next door to us then: coz I'm sick and tired of them being out of control and having a go at mine.

I think its easy in a situation like this to say "aw, poor doggy" and make all the sympathetic noises. And its not the dog's fault, its the owner's for not taking control of their animal on this occasion.

I've been in this situation: where someone's bleddy dog has got hold of yours and is beating the ***** out of it, and it is frightening, very frightening.

IMO the police acted properly and rightly on this occasion - and hopefully it will act as a deterrent to other owners who let their dogs run loose and out of control, and terrify and maul other people and dogs.
