Me and oh are looking to go away for a few days may/June time and would like to go somewhere near the beach with my dog. We live in the midlands so everywhere is far away :p so not picky where we go. Or if anyone has any ideas of all inclusive doggy holidays :D thanks :)

Hi
We go to Cornwall every year with the kids and dog and have never found a beach where the dog is not welcome , also most B&B's and Hotels are dog friendly and there are also loads of holiday cottages down that way :D

Havent looked at cornwalll yet but will look now. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong things on google but can't seem to find cottages/caravans that are dog friendly near dog friendly beaches!

We take our springers to Woolacombe in north Devon. There is a 3 mile beach backed with dunes that you can walk with dogs off lead all year, although you do have to keep them on the lead for the first few hundred yards.
All the pubs in Woolacombe and nearby are dog friendly and Exmoor is close by for gorgeous walks.
Thats why we go there three or four times a year. Takes less than 4 hours from the midlands too!

Nearest sea for you is Norfolk. North Norfolk has plenty of doggie beaches. Mundesley, Happisburg, Trimingham, I think parts of Overstrand - you could google each of these beaches and you will get the exact gen on each beach. East Palling is a lovely beach, I think that allows dogs all year, but most of them have certain bits that are dog free.

The other end of Woolacombe beach - Putsborough - is dog friendly all the year round. Virtually all pubs in North Devon we find are dog friendly.

There are literally thousands!! You need to google something like:

"pet friendly self-catering near beach"

Don't worry about the dog friendly beach bit - most beaches allow dogs on at least part, if not whole, all winter and in the summer there are restrictions but very rarely an outright ban.
