Dog -friendly heater for outdoor kennel

We are getting a kennel and run built for the dogs at work, but with winter weather closing in can anyone recommend a safe heating system that could be installed in the kennel? At the moment there isn't a power supply although an extension cable could be run out there.
Any ideas/recommendations are welcome.

Pig lamp fixed high enough that if they get too warm they can move away out of the arc.
