dog friendly holidays in the lakes

The OH and I are going home to Newcastle in September for a short break to see my dad but I would like to have a bit of "just us time" too so I thought we would pop over to the lake district for the 2nd week before coming home, problem is all the cottages we look at that are advertised as dog friendly only accept 1 dog and we have 2 big malamutes. Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere that will accept 2.

Didn't want to read and run! Not sure on cottages as we always camp or stay in a pub (cuckoo brow inn is v dog friendly)

Cottages for you has places that take more than one dog- we have looked at loads but decided on Yorkshire in the end so can't help with cottage names

Holbeck Ghyl have a two dogs per room limit, we haven't stayed there but I can highly recommend their restaurant and next time we go to the lakes we plan to stay there.

thanks for the replies guys, i am thinking more cottage than inn so the dogs still have space and dont have to keep getting called away from people all the time (they are very friendly but due to their size and there being 2 of them they can intimidate people and their dogs)
