Just out of curiosty, how do your dog(s) greet you when you get home?
Was just wondering as when I get home The Beast gives a lovely greeting!
She starts bouncing up and down and charging back and forward and even cries! (only does this for me, no-one else in the house) she can't decide whether to come for hugs or run around like a loon instead then she drags her bed apart. Well this bit isn't so good, she takes the blanket out of it and throws it around everywhere. (even though it is twice the size of her!!)

Hi. I have two dogs and they both make funny howling/cry sound. They both jump up and one of them usually gets the blanket out out of her bed and excitedly trots around with it in her mouth!!

Mine all jumped furiously but I trained the little one to fetch his squeaky instead because he used to leap up with his whole body and hit me in the stomach.....not so good for my hysterectomy scar!

Thats exactly what one of my JRT's does LOL! The 2 jacks usually start a high pitch howling and the collie just wags his whole body!! The joke is, I'm at home all day with them. This is just if I go to the shop or something!!

My lab wags the ENTIRE body (it's a skill!) and moans!
She's very funny.
The other all bark and run over to say hi!

She goes all silly as if she can't contain herself, wagging her tail and half of her rear end, jumps up... she used to be worse than this but since I took her off Bakers complete and got her on Chappie and Winalot mixer, she has calmed down so much, and settles so much more easily!

When I go to see the two gundogs, if they're out the front and see my car they start going crazy as they know I take them out then they just come over whole body wagging just as TripleSandH said and go to get their leads!!

Tuppence goes completely MENTAL when I come home. Leaps, bounces, turbos round the house, kills her toys, jumps up for hugs and kisses - I'm glad she's only 10inches high

Edited to add, she also makes a helluva lot of noise!!!

Ours whips you with his tail which hurts and charges round and round...If on a lead he goes beserk and I have handled 17.2 hh fit competition horses with more ease!!! He also does a great impression of a Ti-fighter from Starwars and makes an eeeeewwwwwwwwwww noise very loudly!!!!

We have taught our dog to not get over excited when we come home as he is a large breed and if he jumped up or got excited like your dogs do I wouldn't see be able to sit here and type LOL!

He is pleased to see us but sits and waits until we greet him and then wags the body

ours doesn't jump up at all as the same would happen Brego!!!!! He never jumps up at anybody but myself and only then at allocated playtime...It's the noises he makes ...honestly, you'd think a cow was giving birth sideways!!!!!
At 76-84KG you can imagine!
