Waffled a lot!
Just a pointless thread in honour of my two lovely dogs!
Yesterday we sold my stepson's wonderful pony. He was very outgrown and was sold to a lovely family for their 9yr old girl, who will no doubt love him and fuss him as much as we did - as he is a very special pony.. Butit was still awful watching their trailer drive off with him inside! I went inside and sat on the settee and burst into tears! Within seconds, two labrador noses appeared on my knee. Honey kept pawing me, and Rory jumped up and kept kissing me. Rory is normally a whirlwind, but for the next half hour he never left my side, other than to go and get me gifts (mainly shoes - his speciality!). We then went out for a long walk in the gorgeous sunshine, and I came back feeling a bit better.
Thank goodness we don't grow out of our dogs! And to the three homes before us that gave up on Rory in his first twelve months of life - you missed out on a wonderful friend!
