dog insurance for a 9yr old

Changing my insurance with e&l for obvious reasons(not going into it) but im finding it hard to get a lifetime plan that covers death etc for my 9 yr old. read countless reviews on insurance companys and im rather confused! can anyone recommend a company that would accept a older dog please?
 
We've got my oldie (he's 11!) insured with More Than. They were the only ones who would insure him because of his age (he was 7 when we got him). Find they are very reasonable with price, cover etc.
 
Hmmm, didn't realize til I just checked it that petplan will only give you the lifetime cover if dog under 8 yrs of age, will have to make a note of this for future reference... ahem as has already been said could try MoreThan, Axa also seem to offer lifetime cover with the amount they will pay you renewing each year but don't know if they have an age limit for registering (not mentioned on website so assume possibly not)
 
hey thanks for the replys i managed to get lifetime cover with tesco they seem to be only ones who cover death by illness/injury pet plan offered 12 month essential cover but i want lifetime :) tesco because im a clubcard holder have also gave me a free camcorder (wasnt expecting that)
 
Yep, Tesco were the only ones that would do decent cover for my 10 year old. Got a decent discount with the clubcard as well. :)
