Dog long jump

I think this is what its called!

I've seen a long jump into water competition advertised at a few game fairs this year and think my labs, one in particular, would love it. They both love water and will launch themselves spectacularly off banks into ponds and rivers, but I'm wondering if they will jump into an artificial pool!

Has anyone done one of these competitions, if so what was it like? Also is there anywhere (northwest/yorks areas) that has a pool you can have a go in?

I know nothing about it except that it's sometimes called Dock Dogs, you might find more info by googling that instead of long jump.

Thanks, I've seen a link to it on the game fair website, was mostly wondering if anyone had done it and if there was anywhere to have a test run.
