My mothers dog does not seem to drink very much. There is always fresh water down but he very rarely drinks. He does get some water I know from his tinned food but he only has a small tin a day (he is a corgi ) He seems healthy enough, nose is wet and he is very active and happy and eats well, skin goes back down when pinched
She has been monitoring him very closely and he just doesnt seem interested in water - but he does pee a lot when hes out ! My dogs have always drunk loads of water especially after they have been walked, it seems so strange to me that he can survive on so little ? Should we contact the vet when he otherwise seems fine ?
