Dog had tummy prob this morning an pooed on the road. I was ready to pick up but this is a busy corner on our estate and the school run mums kept hurtling round the corner. Decided to not risk self getting run over. I am sure that if your dog pooed in the road or kerb in the past you didn't have to pick it up only on pavement and parks etc , but now see that some areas would prosecute? What is the rule anyone know ?

Sorry, I'm not sure but about the most embarrassed I have ever been is when my dog pooed in the middle of a zebra crossing. Cars both sides had to wait while I fumbled for a bag.
I think in your situation I'd have done the same, but maybe pop back later when it's quieter and without the dog to see if there's anything left to collect?

I used to train my dog to poo in gutter, that was before there were so many problems with urban dogs.
I love dogs [had two pets] but now I prefer my cats, they are great fun and not quite so demanding of my time., also they are protected by law,
