Dog poop in field meant for horse hay

We recently moved to a new home with 15 acres of pasture land. We aren't using the grass yet and a nearby neighbor offered to cut, bale, and haul it away for free for his animals. It's too much for me to manage alone with no equipment yet.

So the question is, my two dogs have been going poop in the tall grass. Can this be harmful to the horses eating the cut grass after it has been baled and dried? I do plan to tell the guy before he comes to cut it. It's only been in one corner of the pasture so he can avoid it if necessary.

Dog mess is not great for horses I can't remember why but someone on here will know, I personally wouldn't want to feed hay from a field full of dog mess:( I would stop letting them in there.

Our dogs poo in the hay fields, but not once it has got long, mainly as we stop walking there.
But ours mainly poo on one separate area of grass so it’s only the odd one on the hay.
I’d maybe tell him about the heavy usage corner
