We are looking for a rescue - large dog, female and although I have contacted 5 places using their email initial contact forms or sent emails outlining our situation I've heard nothing back from any of them! Even if they have nothing suitable it would be nice for a brief 2 lined email stating this. I'm almost tempted to search for a pup now due to this. My emails are detailed and well written and polite so I'm not sure why I'm not getting anywhere? With 2 of them I've filled the form in twice but don't want to pester them!!
I called 2 centres only to get answer phones and they too never responded. Perhaps they are all busy or what I did think was maybe long response timescales are usual? WARS I contacted 3 weeks ago. I haven't bothered with dogs trust as when we were looking 4 years ago they wouldn't rehome to us as we are out the house 3 days a week for more than 4 hours even though its only 38 times a year and we have a dog walker!

RSPCA Gloucestershire
Does anyone know of any others that might deal with large dogs in my neck of the woods?
