Help!

I've been asked to help organise a dog show  I've got the list of pedigree classes and a list of novelty ones but should there be a ring for cross-breeds? There are 10 pedigree classes, 10 novelty ones and so far I can only think of 3 cross breed ones :o Have got:

Best rough coated
Best Smooth coated
Best Puppy

Don't want to do a veteran as we've left it out of the pedigree classes and stuck it into novelty. If there are enough entries we thought about splitting the rough and smooth coated into little and large... I feel bad for not paying attention to other rings when I was showing now :o Are lurchers pedigree? Could I stick something in the cross breed ones for them?

Yeah, ditto BC - I'd have thought you just need to make sure the novelty classes coverall, and dont forget 'best rescue dog' class.

Good luck!

Normally xbreds just go into novelty but ideas:
Best Bitch
Best Dog
Best Small crossbreed
Best Medium crossbreed
Best Large Crossbreed
Best Long haired Crossbreed.
Best Short haired crossbreed

The companion shows I have been to this year have had 2 rings. 1 for the pedigree classes such which are either broken down into Groups and an Open or Puppy, Best Sporting, Best Non-Sporting and Open. The other ring has had the novelty classes which included Veteran, Best Crossbreed, Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Best Condition, Dog Judges Most Wants To Take Home, Waggiest Tail, Child Handler etc.
