Dog show info please!!

I posted yesterday about mini bull terriers and someone responded saying I should go to The Ladies Kennel Association - (the LKA) - held at the NEC Birmingham. I have been searching on the net to find out what is on what day and so far can only find the dates 8 & 9 of December. Does any one have or know where I can find out a timetable or any info on the LKA. I would like to see the utility group and the terriers

Hi there - terrier day will be on Friday 8th December - not sure when Utility are on - you can find out alll the details if you phone the secretary Miss M Churchill on 01453 832944.


There will not be very many Miniature Bull terriers simply because they are such a rare breed - but you will see a few and certainly see plenty of standard Bull terriers as well as being able to talk to lots of knowledgable Bull terrier folk (not to mention all that LOVELY doggy shopping !) The LKA is my very favourite Champ show and I just LOVE the atmosphere - it's not the mad circus that Crufts has turned into

and loads of Christmas goodies to buy. We always take mince pies and have a get together with our mates round the benches - one year we got snowed in and had to sleep with the dogs on the benches too !.

Great !!!! Thanks for all the info. I will call miss Churchill on Monday. Have already roped my friend who is a dog groomer into coming along with me. My OH and I are due to get a Boston Terrier in January so I really wanted to see them. I am just curious about the mini bull terriers as I adore the big ones, but they were too big for our current life style (long story but it involves a lot of traveling and flying) so we ruled them out and I didnt know mini ones even existed!! A Boston should suit us perfectly so we are really excited. Thanks again for the number, I am really looking forward to going!
