Dog Showing Rules

We can under our rules, but I *personally* wouldn't if the judge had connections to the sire or dam.
Our two main judges in my sport, one bred my dog, the other owned him for the first few weeks after he left mum, and I am aiming (if he turns out good enough) to compete under visiting judges so as to cut out any bitching or backbiting!

Yes you can show if the judge owns the sire, but depending on how well you know the judge be prepared for bitching if you do well:rolleyes:. If it is a very well used stud you should be fine , but if the dog has only had one or two bitches and his owner has seen your pup recently then maybe best not.

Not sure how many covers the dog has had, but I don't know the judge personally, and she's never seen the pups. So I might go for it. It's a local open show and they never have classes for malamutes, but this one does. It'll be good practice for the demons lol

i believe you can show under a judge as long as your dog was not bred by said judge or hold it's kennel affix.

For example, my dog's sire and dam are both from X kennel, with X affix, but he wasnt bred by them and was registered under Y kennels affix.
I can show him under X breeder despite the fact he is basically one of their dogs - if you know what i mean,
