The longdog I adopted last year (has the deformed front leg, a stump) was spayed today, she is 16 months old and still hadn't had a season but needed to get her done. Her ovaries and womb were the size of a cats 
so obviously had other developmental issues not just the leg, However the vet did say her spleen is very enlarged but looks healthy? Any ideas what can cause this, google just brings up cancer but spleen looks healthy, (will ask vet again when I pick dog up
