Dog wanted

Hi everyone, never posted in this part of the forum before. I am looking for a dog. It needs to be house trained or close to that point. ( i am off work for 3 weeks so have a litle time) and I also need to be able to train it to come along with me while I am riding. I'm not fussed aout the breed but I ideally want a medium sized dog the size of a lab / retriever / border collie. I am happy to take on a rescue dog, can anyone advise me on the best places to look. I can spend upto £150. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week but my sister will look after it while I am at work.

I know of someone with a male 2 year old think its a collie cross lab, spent the best part of its life shut in a kennel friends have rescued it and within a couple of weeks is nearly house trained is good round the horses and with other dogs, dont think they are looking for any money they just want to find it a nice home!!

Would definitely go and look around kennels, your local council will also have a pound were they store stray dogs, I know here they are put to sleep within a week if they arent rehomed
