Dog whistle

I am quite a good whistler but there are times when it's windy etc when I can't. Have never used a whistle for a dog before-anyone know of a good one? Just for recall. Seen the Acme and Mudder ones on Amazon-any recommendations?

Acme - I think mine is 211.5...

Far better and more consistent sound than the metal clic one I bought in the pet shop...

I use the Acme 210.5, it's a spaniel whistle. Cheap cheerful and easily replaceable.

I also use acme. The two most popular are 211.5 and 2.10.5. The latter is the higher frequency.
While rarely disagreeing with Thistle the whistles do not have to be spaniel or retriever specific as long as you stick to one and are consistent.
I use the 210.5 with my flatcoats and the lurcher responds too!
