Hi all

Me and my partner are looking to go away for a long weekend break, maybe 3-4 nights in March and would love to take our spaniel along with us. Really we want to visit Cornwall and somewhere close to a beach or somewhere with long coastal type walks as Oscar cannot get enough of the water! I've had a quick search using Google but there are so many places. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Thanks in advance all :)

Bosinver Farm Cottages, nr St Austell are lovely. Good woodland walking, nearest beach about 3 miles. Accessible to North and South coasts, Bodmin Moor, Eden Project and a nice dog friendly pub 10 mins walk.

gunnergundog ... ohhhh my that is absolutely stunning!! May be a little out of the price range but I'm sure with a bit of persuasion. The spaniel would love it!

There are quite a few B&Bs which take dogs, I'm based nearer the north coast so would say Mawgan Porth, Porth or Watergate Bay, as when the tide is out they are big beaches. If going to Mawgan Porth and your dog likes to swim then be aware there is a rip current there. Also check that the beach will accept dogs, a lot of them are no dogs or lead only during the season.
