I'm overwhelmed by the doggy community spirit around me today, after my girl did a runner on friday night due to neighbour setting off fireworks over our garden (thanks for not giving us any warning!!) and a campaign of posters and ringing and walking everywhere shouting myself hoarse Saturday she was safely returned to us.

I've spent today taking down posters and bumping into people out dog walking, everyone asked after my girl (who was on the lead with me as we de-postered the area) and everyone was so honestly relieved for me and so happy for us. Made my heart glad how wonderful are doggy people for getting together and supporting one another. :D

Had to post, as so often we complain about fellow dog walkers that we meet. Well i have to say, without them all I wouldn't have got through the hours of not knowing where my girl was. Thank you to everyone who cared:)

How lovely! Sometimes people really do make your day. :)

My childhood dog did a runner from fireworks and a local guy ones and said he had my 'wolf dog' and could I collect it ASAP as he was scared of it! (a Keeshond!)

I think fellow dog owners are just able to imagine how they would feel if it was their dog missing, so they do everything they can to help.
Had to laugh at anyone thinking a Kees was a wolf dog ct :D
