Just look at my dogs teeth - you'll have proof then! Lol. In all honesty though, the vets have said our oldie (14 this year) has great teeth. This is the dog who is a VERY fussy eater but he 'demands' his "teeth chew" as we call it every night at 8pm on the dot!
He absolutely loves them and he is the fussiest dog i know.
Hmm, well maybe I shall try those as well - although I think they'd be messier! Our other dog can't eat the dentastix though (as much as she likes them) they make her vomit within a few seconds - something to do with the fat or something? She's ok on the Bakers dental chews though.
Sadly I don't spend a lot of time at a butchers as am vegetarian although I keep meaning to try get the odd bone for them as a treat but haven't so far.
That ad is brilliant!! I have to brush Zak's teeth everyday with chicken toothpaste!! (yuk!!) vet did reccommend denta stiks but Zak just wont touch them , The other dog Jam on the other hand loves them (well she will eat just about anything come to think of it!)
Little Lucy does`nt "do" bones,so I use an exfoliating glove and smokers tooth powder to bring them up pearly white. The rest of them have chook carcases ,cows hooves and bones to self clean theirs.
