Can ya tell im on the hunt or a doggy paddling pool

Have just given Henry a post walk shower under the hose, he must have been hot because he loved it was drinking from the hose and everything. Normally when the hose comes out he does his best 'I'm poster dog for an RSPCA cruelty campaign' impression

I may have to source a cheapo paddling pool for Henry if this weather continues!

Used to have an ordinary kids paddling pool for my old girl, lot cheaper than that and she didn't damage it.

Sorry, can't get rid of white bit

LOL, thats exactly what our deerhound does, just lies in the water exactly like that to cool off, they must have the same characteristics

Ours would usually jsut jump in the lakes, but on a day like today, it's walking them there first, which was far to hot, so Im thinking of getting a paddling pool for the garden, and just for the fun of it, no doubt it will be a laugh

I know what you mean but we tried it once with ours and he just drank out of it! Resorted to buying him an aircon unit to compliment his 2 x 18 inch fans!!!!

Well she used to leap in and skid around in it and it survived, it wasn't the inflatable sort just the fold out one. Might get one for Evie, she is spending quite a bit of time in the horses bath, and when she's in the house she put her paw in the wter bowl, spills it and lies in the resulting puddle, bless her

I bought a cheap kids one this week and put an old sheet over it before filling with water, it makes it less slippery and my dog hasn't punctured it yet

We have just gone to homebase and bought our pups an apple shaped sandpit with lid that we have now filled with water so they each have their own little paddling pool!
