Willow is our 1 year old GSD x ? bitch. We have had her for 4 months, and got her from the Dogs Trust. She has come on in leaps and bounds since we got her- she's now an outgoing, happy girl, whilst before she was a nervous, cowering wreck. According to the D.T, she was a stray found loose in the centre of Leeds 3 weeks before we got her, so we don't know any of her past. However, we are certain that she has been beaten/abused in some way.
So, now to our hitch- Will wees when we come into the house. I will give today as an example- She is left for 1 hour on a Monday, when I go and do the horses. She is walked for about 30 mins. I left her with her breakfast, and shut her in the kitchen.
The parking to our house is opposite our house. As I pulled up, Will was looking out of the window. As I opened the door to the kitchen, she wees- only a bit, and then she runs past me- into the hallway, weeing whilst she does it. When she does this, we say 'No Willow' in a firm voice and put her in the garden.
She had stopped doing this- but now she has started again.
I was discussing this with my Mum and Dad last night (they have her from 12-6 on a Tuesday and Friday) she doesn't do it when Mum picks her up when Im at work, but Mum seems to think it may have something to do with Will being spayed?
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
