i know that chocs are bad for dogs (even though my spaniel would always go MENTAL when the quality street would come out at xmas, she couldnt get enough of orange cremes) but a friend of mine treats her dogs with basseti liquorice sticks which i dont think i have seen since i was about 12 but apparently she gets them in bulk http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Food-and-Drink,Sweet-delicacies,Liquorice-2687 and the dogs cant get enough of them... i wouldnt have thought this was very good for them, not that i claim to be a master of this after the night of 4 orange cremes with bessie but still, this is an ongoing thing. does anyone know if this would harm a dog? for starters i cant think that the dark colouring is doing them many favours
