Did you take your dog along to vote today and were they allowed in? I was told today that, by law, dogs can go inside polling stations, even if the premises usually has a ban.
I took my GSD and was planning on taking him in with me but he was too wet really and so he waited outside while I went in.

Didn't know til after I'd been to vote or would have taken mine. Might have cheered up the very miserable people in there!

I was another who found out after I had voted - I can just imagine the impact of 4 greyhounds/lurchers to our very dull polling station :D

I didn't know that!
But I had a 9 month old baby to vote with me- I did. I think a pair of nutty rescue collies would help! Asher would try to eat the ballot paper

Our polling station is someone's front room in the village, complete with carpet and pale lemon furniture! I guess they are paid well for the use of the room but I wouldn't take my dogs in.

Fizz came with me but if I'm honest it's because I'd driven 7hours (including leg stretching stops) back from Brighton with her and felt rotten leaving her in the car so she came in then had a look round the park next door. Normally don't as they both try and make friends with those working there which isn't always reciprocated!

Dylan came with me and enjoyed supervising

Our huntsman got a great photo of the hounds outside the polling station on their morning walk. I went on my way to work otherwise I would have taken mine.

Haha trust me that probably wasn't a bad thing! Daffs spotted something behind the booths as I went to put my cross in the box and nearly knocked them all over...not to mention I nearly scrawled across every box :D

Lucky came, but stood outside with OH - He had already been on his own to vote. Our polling station is in the leisure centre, so I'm not sure they would welcome her?!

Didn't get a picture of the sign as it is high up on the wall.
