My two pups are so different in their attitude to walkies. Dukie will sit and whine at his lead and goes giddy when walkies is mentioned. Boo, on the other hand doesn't seem that keen. When I get her lead out she tries to slink off but is fine once we are out. They are 4 months old and only go to the local park for about 30 mins. Does she just not like going out?
Here is a pic from last weekend just because it's a cute one!:)

B loves being out and about, likes to walk out and front flying his tail.
His sister lags behind and would rather be nice and safe and comfy at home, running in circles :p
She gets easily spooked and I think finds the outside world a bit scary and noisy and overwhelming. Weirdo!

In my house, it goes like this:

Him: 'The lead is out! **boing** Look **boing** how **boing** under-exercised **BOING** I **BOINGGGG** am...' (as he bounces level with my head)

Me: 'sit. Sit. SIT. WILL YOU SIT DOWN!'

Him: **Sits for approximately two milliseconds on each command then is off again** 'Comeoncomeoncomeoncomeonletsgoletsgoletsgo' **boingboingboingboing**

He's always happy to be getting out and about:D

Our new jrtx goes beserk when she knows she's going for a walk, she absolutely loves it. The min schnauzer cross also gets giddy but to a lesser degree thankfully. She also loves walks. Our old dog used to get excited but when you tried to put his lead on he would bury his head n the skirting board. He is a rescue dog and we think he was badly treated, He was fine once the lead was on and also loved his walks.
