Are anyone else’s dogs going off their food a bit? The hounds are fine, but George is distinctly unenthusiastic ? So of course I’m worried because I always have to have to something to worry about ? He seems fine in himself, drinking/weeing/pooing normally

I have to admit he does always prefer human food to dog food mind you ?

ETA - and how I’m ever meant to get a tan... ?

I have a paddling pool - the hounds treat it as a large drinking bowl ? and George totally ignores it! I think I may need to be more assertive tomorrow....

Thank you for the reassurance! I even found myself worrying that he looked more grey than when I adopted him today ?

I have springer spaniels - going off food isn't really an option in this house, so not much help I'm afraid.

Willow is a bit quiet at the moment, which immediately makes me think she must be dying of something but she's probably just growing up a bit and being less daft..........

One can only hope :)

It's funny really, I've almost stopped fretting about Button and Rufus. They are 15 and 13 respectively and Button in particular is running on fumes and I know that. At the moment though, she's full of beans so I'll go with that :)

I know that one so well Deb! I seem to have done nothing but lose my gorgeous wonderful oldies over the past couple of years which has made me paranoid.. but logic says my current lot are around for a while ?❤️

I am so used to it as a way of life, I think that’s why I can’t help worrying ?

He did eat it at the time, just much more slowly than I’m used to! It has cooled down a lot now so he is playing with excitable fun terrier games again ????

Equally, springers here, if they don’t eat, they’re probably dying or at least seriously unwell. Despite the heat, mine are obsessed with frogs, possibly making a pond in the garden would help get any velcro dog off your knee, Lev?
